KICKit World Festival Liability Acknowledgment

Notice to All Participants

By purchasing a ticket to the KICKit World Festival (the "Festival") and/ or entering the festival grounds as ticket holder, vendor, performer, you are deemed to have read, understood, and implicitly agreed to the terms and conditions outlined in this Liability Acknowledgment notice. This document serves to inform you of your assumption of risk and your waiver of certain legal rights.

  1. Assumption of Voluntary Participation: It is understood that participation in the Festival and all associated activities is voluntary. The act of entering the Festival premises signifies your acknowledgment that you do so at your own risk, fully aware of the potential for exposure to risks and hazards, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, and loss.

  2. Assumption of Risk: By entering the Festival premises, you recognize and accept any inherent risks associated with Festival participation. These risks may include physical injury, death, or damage to personal property. Your presence at the Festival signifies your personal assumption of these risks.

  3. Waiver of Claims: Your entrance into the Festival premises serves as an implicit release and waiver of any claim against the Festival organizers, sponsors, participants, and their respective agents, officers, volunteers, and employees ("Releasees"). This release covers any liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever related to any loss, damage, injury (including death), that may be sustained by you or any property belonging to you, while participating in the Festival or on its premises.

  4. Compliance with Festival Rules and Laws: By entering the Festival, you agree to abide by all Festival rules, guidelines, and instructions, as well as all applicable local, state, and federal laws. This includes following the instructions of Festival staff and security personnel, especially in emergency situations, and ensuring that you do not engage in any illegal activities while on Festival grounds.

  5. Implicit Agreement: The act of purchasing a ticket and/ or entering the Festival grounds constitutes your implicit agreement to the terms of this notice. It is considered a legally binding acknowledgment that you are waiving substantial legal rights, including the right to sue.

Notice: This document does not require a signature. Your ticket purchase and/ or presence at the Festival are proof of your understanding and acceptance of these terms.
